My Hero Is Me was a post-hardcore/metalcore band with southern rock influences from Pfafftown/Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States. Formed in 2004, in North Carolina, My Hero Is Me immediately took the local scene by storm and signed with Tragic Hero Records in 2006 with whom they recorded their second album. Since forming, the band has gone through a series of member changes to evolve their distinct blend of metal, rock, and hardcore. A highly energetic six-piece driven by three guitarists and one hell of a frontman, the band's live shows will leave you breathless. Adding to the mix a bone-crunching rhythm section, My Hero Is Me combines ruthless aggression with dynamic melodies, effortlessly walking the line between beauty and destruction. They decided to break up in 2009.
