Although mycorduroylife is minimalistically set up as a three-piece band, they can be the full-bodied soundtrack to your gloomy life. Bittersweet boy/girl harmonies are whispered on top of an intimate soundscape provided by subtle intricate electronica, echoes of guitar, and the occasional glockenspiel. Borrowing soundwise from the legacy of bands like Stars, Lali Puna and The Postal Service , they create heartfelt music that resembles your most delicate childhood memories. Originated at the Rotterdam Pop Academy in 2010, Jacques (programming), Duende (vocals/guitars), and Janna (vocals) created mycorduroylife to fill the void of earnest DIY indie music making. With their debut EP ‘’A Quiet Riot’’ released in fall 2010, mycorduroylife isn't going to kick your ass with angry metal-riffs. They can however make u feel like home.
