Five piece indie/acoustic/near-prog outfit from Warrington, smack bang between the northern metropoli of Liverpool and Manchester. Their mesmerising design of sound encompasses a range of influences, some of geographical relevance (Echo & The Bunnymen, Stone Roses, Elbow) and some not (Felt, The Beta Band, The Go! Team). They formed in 2005, and made instant headway with the release of the mini-album 'Grand Designs' in January 2006 on the famous Fierce Panda label. Subsequent live performances garnered glowing reviews, and revealed a much harder, synthetic, more turbulent edge to their live sound than the pastoral sounds of Grand Designs could possibly indicate. The band have since delved back into their command bunker to complete their second as yet untitled Fierce Panda long-player, due Autumn 2007.
