James Nikander (born October 11, 1990 in Turku, Finland), better known by his old artist name Musta Barbaari (English: Black Barbarian), is a Finnish-Tanzanian rap-artist from Helsinki, Finland. His music video for "Salil eka salil vika" in 2013 was his first hit, which made him famous. Nikander's mother is Tanzanian and his father is Finnish. He hasn't seen his father since his early childhood. His parents divorced when he was only 3-years-old, and he has been a part of gang activity in Helsinki, so he had a rough life growing up.
