MUSIDORA VAMPIRES was founded by Kevin Kelly as a solo project in January of 2013. Kelly is an American singer-songwriter, composer, graphic designer, engineer, and record producer. As the primary member of Musidora Vampires, he is both vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for the dark musical project. In the summer of 2013, Kelly founded Revvolt Records, an independent record label which releases the work of Musidora Vampires. The Revvolt Records imprint appears in association with Musidora Vampires’ digital downloads, to be released physical formats, their official YouTube channel, and on their official Facebook and Instagram accounts. The name Musidora derives from the stage name of French actress, Jeanne Roques who starred in several silent films during the early twentieth century and took on a vamp persona. Musidora Vampires draws influence from isolation within a shadow society and the effects of fear on a generation’s uncertain future.
