Based in Berlin, highly respected baroque ensemble Musica Sequenza was founded by conductor/bassoon virtuoso Burak Ozdemir in 2008, New York City. Musica Sequenza is comprised of young talents from The Juilliard School and University of Arts-Berlin, in the effort to bring unfamiliar jewels of the early music repertory to new audiences in an innovative and virtuoso manner worldwide. Since the acclaimed debut performance of C.P.E. Bach’s Concerto, Wq.166 in an arrangement transcribed by Ozdemir at Lincoln Center New York, Musica Sequenza continued performing at World's most prestigious venues frequently. The Ensemble size varies from duo to entire baroque orchestra depending on repertory being performed. Musica Sequenza has made its reputation as a Baroque Period ensemble in the highest quality, performing repertory from Renaissance to early classical, but also takes a major role in the contemporary art scene, giving world-premiere performances to electro-acoustic, new music, dance and theater productions. Musica Sequenza has also established itself as an outstanding ensemble for the accompaniment of singers and soloists, such as Kenneth Weiss, Lionel Party and Daniel Bubeck, as well as collaborations with choreographers and visual artists as Robert Flynt, Keith Michael and Mari Kimura. Among many unusual productions, Musica Sequenza has embarked upon contemporary repertoire, giving black box theater debut performance of Fuga - "The Electro Baroque Opera", created by Ozdemir
