Based London in 2002 around the singer composer John HUGUES, MUSIC FOR GROWN UPS began in London Alternative Pubs to settle down then in Paris. Fed by Dark pop very close to the cold wave, their influences are situated between The Smiths, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Pulp,Lambchop, or still Tindersticks. John HUGUES's songs tell the Annoyed Loves, the Sheer madness and the Melancholy. Since the Original Band, worth namely JOHN HUGUES to the vox JANE BURKE to the Cello and AARON ROBERTSON to the Guitar, with MATHIEU HIRSH to the Drum kit and NICOLAS THOMA to the Bass. In 2013, with French fries publishing they bring out their Sixth LP "CHIAROSCURO" with already titles as "FLINCH", "BELLADONNA" and "DARK STAR" .
