Originally released in the US in 1969 in vanishingly small numbers, the Music Emporium's eponymous album has become one of the most sought after vinyl albums of its genre, exchanging hands for in excess of $2,000. The album moves through different influences, including folk, skiffle, spiritual and rock, but retains the psychedelic sound throughout with the use of organs and harmonies. The band was made up of Casey Cosby (organ and vocals), Dave Padwin (lead guitar), Carolyn Lee (bass guitar) and Dora Wahl (drums).
