Murralin Lane

Murralin Lane is David Wenngren (b. 1981) and Ylva Wiklund (b. 1986) based out of Eskilstuna, Sweden. Wenngren is known for his music as Library Tapes where he uses piano as the main source of sound in his textured and often deeply melancholic compositions. He also runs a label called Auetic. Murralin Lane started when Wenngren asked Wiklund to sing on a song which he thought would benefit from female vocals. She had never sung on any recordings before, but they were both happily surprised with the result and decided to expand the idea into a full-fledged project and album.
