Murmur Breeze formed before the blackening backdrop of a bleak 2007. Grit storms, crippled plant stems and gods on crutches decorated the wobbly paths that both James P Honey and AbSUrd wandered along wild-eyed and inspired. Their meeting was an inevitability of sorts, and certainly the hinges that they individually buckled for one another, in terms of creativity, would most surely have eventually twisted on their own accord to admit them through the yawning arch shoulder to shoulder. Murmur Breeze’s first album, entitled ‘Bird Irony’, was released on decorative stamp in 2008 and encompasses, quite smashingly, the span of both James P Honey’s sour words and AbSUrd’s dreamy drone-like beats. Their, as yet untitled, second album is nearing what one calls completion, and also a 7” vinyl is scheduled to be pressed early in 2010 on Cooler Than Cucumbers Records.
