Zambia folk maestro Emmanuel Mulemena, who died in February, 1982 has not gone with the wind. Twenty two months after his death, the flame of his music was rekindled in the album entitled ‘A Tribute to the late Emmanuel Mulemena’ done by the Mulemena Boys under the Zambia Music Palour.This trio of versatile music masters’ history hit the Zambian music scene in the late 70’s. Before the death of Emmanuel Mulemena, the Band was known as Mulemena and the Sound Inspectors. After the death of Emmanuel, the band changed its name to Mulemena Boys after as dedication to their hero Emmanuel Mulemena. This album is collection of ‘the Boys’ best tunes of the the ‘good old days’ at High life in Kitwe, Kosovo Bar in Luanshya and Kalipinde and Saiga Daka in Lusaka and the numerous other watering holes at the time at which his joyous music was imbibed. Features the best tracks from one of Zambia's greatest Kalindula outfits.
