Mrs Broome is a Midlands-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, taking her inspiration from post-punk, new wave and electro rock, playing guitars, stylophone, synths and bass as well as singing. Debut single Nine Nine Nine is available to download on iTunes, CDBaby and Amazon. Her full-length album Update Geometry can be downloaded at http://mrsbroome.bandcamp.com along with her second single, She's A Robot, which has been remixed by Miles Fender of The Streetlight Farm. Mrs Broome has a wealth of musical experience, having achieved her Grade 8 piano exam and Grade 5 violin while still at school. As well as being classically trained she has an A-level in music and is a self-taught guitarist. She played guitar for an alternative rock band in the mid-90s but later decided to pursue her own songwriting and recording techniques. Mrs Broome's musical CV ncludes the alternative rock project Pale Heather, the acoustic Heather Slater project and also nu-folk duo The Monikers. In addition, she is a part of four-piece jam outfit The Ramshackle Element and has contributed on recordings by Earth Calling Angela and Monica's Last Prayer.
