Mr. Zivago is the stage name chosen by Italian composer and singer Massimo Rastrelli. He started his career as a guitar player in the band led by a songwriter Marco Masini. His very first single “Little Russian” was released on BMS label (Italy) and had some commercial success, that helped to pave the way to a more successfull follow up single “Tell By Your Eyes”. It was sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. In 1992 Massimo teamed up with Japanese composers to release his only full lenght album titled “Tell By Your Eyes”. That album released for the Asian market featured his lesser known songs "Yesterday" and “Sadness is like Snow”. Massimo’s memorable moments include performances on San Remo music festival as a back vocalist for Umberto Tozzi.
