Mr. Orange Undercover is a punk band that formed in 1999 on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Chris Carignan played drums and Jamie Wardlow sung and played bass guitar. The two moved to Oahu and met Max Paguio who joined the band and filled in as the new drummer with Carignan switching to guitar. While on Oahu, Carignan performed in local band, Fever Boner, on lead guitar. The band had one release - a live set from a performance on the University Of Hawaii's own KTUH, Monday Night Live series. Mr. Orange Undercover released one full-length album through Hawaiian Express Records. They were also featured on several different compilations by the same label as well as other record labels. Mr. Orange Undercover first appeared on the “Punkwatch” compilation released by Hawaiian Express with the track “She knows Karate.” During the months of April and May of 2000, the track was rewritten and re-recorded for the band’s debut album, “Go Punk Yourself!” Later, Mr. Orange Undercover did a split live record with fellow local Hawaii band, Grapefruit, for the Punk Party Series by Hawaiian Express. The split featured songs off of “Go Punk Yourself!” as well as new material. In 2001, the band relocated to San Diego, CA. In 2003, Mr. Orange Undercover released a self-titled album dubbed the “White Album,” with all new material.
