There are two artists operating under the name Mr. Bruce. 1. The UK based dance artist (real name Ian Bruce) who was the singer for electroswing duo The Correspondents from 2007-2020, and began releasing material as a solo artist in 2021 following the death of his bandmate Tim Cole (aka Chucks). Whilst in The Correspondents, Mr. Bruce was included in The Telegraph's top 10 Glastonbury highlights two years in a row. The music video to the band's single Fear & Delight won the "Best VFX" award at the Berlin Music Video Awards 2014, while its director, Naren Wilks, was named overall winner for "Best Production". The song was also the theme tune to BBC Three sitcom Crims. Mr. Bruce's debut solo single "Race To Nowhere" was released in the Summer of 2021, followed by second single "I Am Disaster". His debut solo album will follow in 2022 alongside his first UK tour as a solo act. 2. The Russian based soul bassist (real name Elbrus Cherkezov) who has been the bass player of Bad B since 1996, and also performs as a solo artist.
