Mr. Acoustic D, a.k.a. Derrek Dozier, is an independent artist based out of Westminster, CO. He has a growing fan base in the YouTube community where he mixes and crosses genres with the skill of a well seasoned, road worn vet. With an all acoustic sound and methodology, Mr. Acoustic D shows us that everyone can make music with anything you find around the house, from a cookie tin or five gallon bucket, to a salt shaker. He currently has 3 albums available in his "Covered in Sound" Series. In a recent interview, Derrek told us that he was going to finish his Cover series So that he can begin work on a new album consisting of All original work. The Future looks very promising for this small time independent Singer/Songwriter/Composer. With his covers turning up in articles featuring artists such as Ben Folds and Frightened Rabbit, "Look out big name Music labels, a new star is rising."
