Born and raised in Wales Mr "H" strident,powerful vocal performances and deliberately forceful approach to acoustic guitar suggest he is a man on a mission.Rock and Reel Magazine described his songs as a mixture of rugged blues and Jazz with well constructed pop songs at their core.Mr "H" is a songwriter who beleives in the unrestrained power of the song and it seems that he has carved and shaped his songs from the rugged Welsh landscape itself. Mr "H" retains that air of mystery inasmuch as no one knows his name or his regular gigging haunts. His current solo acoustic album titled "Yesterday was a lonely place but I'm lonlier today" has been critically acclaimed by the music press and BBC Radio stations North and South of the country have played the tracks.UKcountryradio.com dedicated a whole weekend to his album and Radio Tircoed have featured the album on their Friday Night Acoustic show. His new album described as Jazz/Blues Tom Waits style music will be released early 2010 where the mystery will continue to flourish.
