Living rock and roll is believe that nothing stays at the surface - if so, mosh would not exist, right? And the Move Over invites you to “Ir Além” (move over), in their debuting album. “The initial idea was making music and get some money”, says Adriane Santana (lead vocal). But then, she, Leandro Tenório (drums/vocals), Renato Bianchini (guitar) and Rafael Gomes (bass) found out that their music should be heard. Move Over had been formed at Bauru (SP/Brazil) for 2 years, and started working at regional clubs doing covers, till they won second place at the 96 Fest Rock, performing their own music, “Virando o Jogo”. As an award, the song was aired at the 96 FM and made the top. “By that time, we had no idea of what was happening”, reminds Leandro. It didn’t take so long to them release the “Ir Além” album, by Engenho records, from Jaú (SP/Brazil), last year. The debut album was recorded and mixed at São Paulo (where the 4 members shared a small apartment for 17 days). It had been produced by Jr. Lanne (Mamonas Assassinas). The other hit song, “Inacreditável Você”, retract the band spirit: guitars inspired by Evanescence and a marking vocal. The irreverent and energic style from Avril Lavigne inspires their song. They talk about relationship and experiences, but not in an ordinary way. Like in “Outro Mundo”: Adriane and Leandro prefer talk about how things could be different in this world of chaos.
