Original Mountain Express members: Dave Amos and Gary Bishop have reunited and put together a project that they call.......MOUNTAIN EXPRESS ACOUSTIC.....This project is based on the concept that Southern-Roots Music can be stripped down to its essences and still remain viable and poignant within the realm of Americana. Dave and Gary brought in some familiar faces they have been collaborating with over the past few years in the form of: Deke Van Wagner (guitar/vox) and Jackson Wools (drums/percussion) to round out this project Original compositions and extended versions of Bluegrass and traditional tunes easly fall into the realm of this category and take the listener on a journey that frequently causes ecstatic dancing and excessive smiling!
