mou, lips! was andrea gabriele and a project born out of his collaboration with emanuela de angelis in 2001. A short live session and then the release in 2003 of Peanuts and shells geometria for the french label List, had soon mou, lips! an interesting prospect at an international level. Mou, lips! explored the modes of an organic, cinematic and enviromental electronic sound, in wich the progressions are embedded in apparently rarefied landscapes though wrapped in the sensation of the human presence, of a hovering feeling. The sound lies between concrete music and an elegant electronic, contributing in a proffering an imaginary link wich leads to an environment between Sonig and the Mille Plateaux of Snd, where jim o’rourke more melanchonic and meteoropatic laptop stands out from the background.
