Artist
Motor boys motor was a british rhythm ‘n’ blues band. They met each other on a fishing trip in the fall of 1980. Their mutual interest in Howlin’ Wolf, the Chess Sessions and Captain Beefheart led to the Alaska studios in London. During these sessions they recorded their first 7”. The b-side of this 7” carries ‘fast ‘n bulbous / grow fins’ (don van vliet). Their first album followed two years later. Motor boys motor: Drive friendly / Fast 'n bulbous/Grow fins (1980, 7", uk, silent records) Motor boys motor: Motor boys motor (1982, lp, uk, albion records) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
