Moto Jenn Walker is the solo project of Florida native Carson Kirk. The project began with the release of his debut EP Sleeper Utopia in August 2021. In 2022, MJW followed up with standalone singles including “Fabric Battery” and “Lush,” continuing to develop his style. After a relatively quiet period, aside from a handful of short tracks uploaded to SoundCloud, he returned in August 2023 with “Bedroom,” accompanied by a music video directed by Nick Wentworth. His second EP, Convenience Store, was released in October 2024. The project saw a small physical run, with copies distributed through local record stores and Goodwill locations around Tallahassee, reflecting a DIY, community-oriented approach.
