Over the years, he has ventured into various musical genres under different aliases. His musical journey began in 2015 as Norman Dück, followed by Yasumu in 2019, Morunas in 2020, and Plant Guy in 2022. Despite the diversity in his musical explorations, a common thread that runs through his work is his affinity for ambient compositions infused with nostalgic undertones. Norman's early fascination with orchestral music shaped his artistic trajectory. He received classical training as a pianist as a child. During his formative years, he delved into crafting minimal piano and orchestral compositions. Music, especially playing the piano, became a sanctuary during his adolescence, offering solace and respite from life's challenges. Norman attributes music to saving his soul and providing an emotional outlet. His involvement in a local church band as a pianist marked the beginning of his musical journey within a group setting.
