There are numerous bands that use the Mortal Remains moniker: 1. Mortal Remains is a thrash metal band from Western Germany, in the style of early thrash from the 1980s. Mortal Remains was also a death metal band from South Shields UK, who released a 12" split with Lord of Putrefaction on Dave Gedge's Nuclear Gore Records. The tracks were Excoriate, Stench of Humanity, Infected, and Embryonic Rupture. 3. Mortal Remains is also a young death metal act from Kennewick, Washington. They released their first, self-titled EP in Summer, 2008 on Discordant Records. 4. Mortal Remains was a thrash/groove metal band from Queens, New York formed in 1989. They released two demos (in 1992 and 1993), an EP (Welcome, 1995) and a full length album (No Cash Flow, 1997). A compilation album (Last Chance to Dance, 2004) was released in 2004.
