1) MORILD (Danish for "phosphorescence") is an atmospheric black metal quintet from Copenhagen, formed in January 2016. They debuted with the EP VI in September 2017, followed by their critically acclaimed full-length album released on February 1, 2019—titled "Så kom mørket og tog mig på ordet en sort sky af minder i afgørende stunder frosset fast i mit indre jeg håber det forsvinder med lyset at dø eller blive fri" (a poetic Danish phrase unfolding across six lines). Their music is laden with deep sorrow, introspection, and a tragic beauty—often interpreted as exploring themes of inner confinement, despair, and yearning for release. The album was independently recorded, produced, and mixed by the band themselves, showcasing a strong do-it-yourself artistic vision. To commemorate the album's release, Morild performed at the National Aquarium of Denmark, Den Blå Planet, in Copenhagen—staging a haunting concert in front of massive aquatic tanks, where they performed the album in its entirety, surrounded by the dim glow of marine life. It was hailed as a stunning and immersive experience. 2)MORILD is a symphonic prog band from Trondheim, Norway . They were formed in 2004 by Nils Larsen, Alexander Holand Salgado and Odd-Roar Bakken. The band members were a part of the band ADVENTURE but opted to leave and form MORILD. Before this the band had many pseudonyms including CONTRABAND, PLIGRIM, and HOME OF STORMS. ADVENTURE continued with Odd-Roar who has remained a musical partne
