Morgan tells you about how it all began: Initially in the past years (1993 E.V. - 1995 E.V.) I have been playing bass guitar in the black metal band called DEFIXIO, but as time went by my musical direction went always more towards a medieval feeeling due to an irresistible passion and admiration for poems like Sturluson's Edda, Richard Garriott's Ultima Saga, Tolkien's Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance Saga, Forgotten Realm, Dungeons & Dragons rpg, Das Nibelungenlied and also for european legends, fairytales, folklore etc. keyboards, synthesizers and acoustic guitars became my instruments. After some months in late 1995 E.V. I definitively left behind my shoulders the black metal experience to dedicate all my existence to translate my feelings for Middle Ages and fantasy through a personal way of playing medieval music giving birth to my first project: FEVDVM. After about 3 years of improvements and changes I decided to turn the name of my project from FEVDVM into "Morgan the bard" just when I finally reached a personal and mature identity and only later some musicians joined me in my musical journey helping me in its realization. By the musical side I've received some constructive inspiration from bands and artists like The Moon lay hidden beneath a Cloud, Wongraven, Enya, Summoning, Alan Stivell, Michael Hoenig (Baldur's Gate), Angelo Branduardi, first Ayreon, Lou Dalfin, Scottish-Celtic-Irish folk, Medieval-Troubadour & Renaissance music and g
