The group Morfé, who recently released their new album "Ziziaq", was founded by Armenian percussionist and composer Hovhannes Avanesyan in 2007 in Minsk, Belarus. Band members are: Andrey Minkov (clarinet), Alexander Efimov (double bass) Anatoly Taran (accordion), Vova Beher (drums), Roman Sorokoletov (guitar), Vitaliy Harmash (electronics, programming), Hovhannes Avanesyan (percussion). The group Morfé are professionals in creating sonic textures. Their music is a synthesis of folk, jazz, avantgarde and electronics. Morfé reached excellent instrumental compositions using ethnic rhythms, ambient grooves, hypnotic bass, and sophisticated almost trance melodies with embedded in the fabric of tracks electronics.
