In 2006, Adam James Tomlinson realized he needed a home for his songs. With his other band, Sleep Bellum Sonno, moving in a different direction, More Than Skies was born. What started as an acoustic side project, has evolved into a full band. Having gone through various members, Chris Polzella, Darrell Cheng, and Cody Paulsen have stuck and have added a whole new dynamic to the sound.
