There are at least two acts with 'Mooria' title: 1) Russian four-piece dream pop band formed in 2022 2) Finnish folk-rock act formed in 2017. 1) Mooria (stylised as 'mooria') is a Russian four-piece collective. Their sound can be precisely described as dream pop mixed with 90s alternative rock & synth pop vibrations. 2) Mooria is a Finnish band from Kokkola, Finland, formed in 2017, playing melodic rock with a slight inclination to folk metal. The band’s music incorporates the influence of a heavier Christian rock tradition, spiced with a fresh and open-minded vision. The songs are based on strong melodies as well as thought-provoking, touching stories. Mooria's first release was the Four-Song EP in the summer of 2018. During 2020, the band released Singlets called Voimasanoja ja Metamorphosis. In the summer of 2021, a mixed version of the crying Crying People 's People was released. The song and music video for Call of Myanmar, made in collaboration with the Myanmar people of Kokkola during the summer of 2021, premiered at the end of November. Mooria has performed at various events, youth evenings and services, especially in Central Ostrobothnia, but also in different parts of Finland. During the Corona period, the band has also performed a livestream concert and a few streamed / recorded services for various congregations.
