MOONWOOD is a Sydney-based band made up of five friends from Australia, the United States, and Canada. What started as a jam in 2016 with Jake (lead vocals) and Justin (drums), later turned into the two hosting a ten-day writing retreat with Aaron (keys), Will (bass) and Paul (guitar). This is considered to be the birth place of MOONWOOD. With their untamed analog synth lines, dreamy guitar leads, and introspective storytelling, MOONWOOD’s sound is a fresh take on alternative rock.
