Since 2011 Moonsugar is a one-man studio-only project of Gennady Vladimirov and all works are available under the terms of Creative Commons License “Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerive”. Moonsugar was formed at Russian Federation, Troitsk, Southern Urals at the end of December 1999th at the wave of totally occupation by Russian Rock after movies Brother 1 and Brother 2 (with Sergey Bodrov jr.) was been released. First formers were Dmitry Kolobkovv and Gennady Vladimirov and by their initials was called GVDK. It was trivial Jazz-Rock project. Since New 2000th year was recorded first studio album which was called "Power Taste Of Cultural Hungry" ("Сильная Жажда Культурного Голода" by Russian) as Anesthesy, trivial Punk Rock. Next time Gennady have said "Fuck the rock'n'roll" and try his personal experiments with sound. And at the middle of 2005th experimental single album "Thy Last Summer" was released. Through not so long time Gennady met Boris Belov and in this party first longplay studio album "DrawNone Depression" was recorded and released. At the beginning of 2006th second longplay album "Schmerzenzeit" was realeased. It is contents traditional Dark Ambient sound with mix of so much part of Darkwave, Gothic and Avantgarde genres.
