Moonshyne started writing songs, poems, and rhymes at the age of 12. He was influenced into hip hop by a diverse group of artists such as The Roots, Ras Kass, Boot Camp Click, and DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince With multiple underground maxi singles, an album, and growing popularity via the internet, Moonshyne is fast becoming a legitimate figure in the Bay Area hip hop community. In 2007, his second album, Sense of Direction, produced by Landmark Records’ DJ Spin was released.
