about

Monstereo plays music that can be placed between indie and psychedlic rock. The quartet’s songs are buildt on solid guitar riffs, shifting to floating jam-parts as well as offering surprising and explosive noise elements. During the last years Monstereo have become an established band in the underground music scene in Norway. The band prefers the live format and is best enjoyed that way, where every concert becomes a unique experience. This approach to the live format have given Monstereo the chance to play in most parts of Norway, as well as in both of China’s biggest rock festivals; Midi Music Festival in Beijing and Shanghai. Prior to their gigs in China in 2012, Monstereo released a 10” single on their own label. The band is released their debut album "Spacesuits, On!" in February 2013 and their second album "Bright Dark" in October 2014, on the label Klangkollektivet. http://klangkollektivet.no/klang/artistar/monstereo/ http://soundcloud.com/monstereobergen User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
