Monster Violence is an Electronic / Alternative band created by Jason "Doc" Rosa and John "Mega" Anderson from Richmond, VA. MV mixes the attitude and spacious ambiance of 70’s Punk with the relentless thumping Electronic styles (i.e. Drum & Bass). What they created is recognizable yet unaccountable, music that fits with today’s playlists but plays “innovative & original”. MV integrates live instruments with hardware and software to fully encompass the music and listener in free thought. The band is Mega - synth, samples, & vocals and Doc - lead vocals, drums, & programmer (beats). Their ability to multitask in real time seems well beyond a common talent show act but is necessary to achieve their live / program fluidity. “We are here to say there's more to life than living up to expectation. Not letting those violent monster's we all have near our hearts, strip away our motivation and goodwill.
