As a collective band, TMP has had 34 members come and go over the years, with many more associates, guests and collaborators. Since the great purge of '06, they were reduced to 21 dedicated members; the band started in '91 with co-Founder singer/songwriter/musician/producer/manager and band janitor Selin Reslef, and co-founder "drummer"/"singer"/lead slide whistler and record label president Chuck Biscuits. Also in '91, Selin's older brother, trombone player Tess Reslef, and childhood friend and lead TMP highway engineer Schmeter Palzer. In 1992, they were joined by singer/songwriter Art (the lone moral compass in a band bound for hell), executive council member and songwriter Eroom Tam, who has an extensive solo career, and twisted songwriter and harmonica player Fog Jarbean. They were joined in the mid to late '90's by lead guitarist/bassist/songwriter/producer extraordinaire Leachim Ladlebait, liaison to the rock and roll hall of fame and president of the TMP fan club No Sage Droll, the mysterious yet talented bassist Leo the Human Xylophone, violinist and southern debutante Seemaj Toots, keyboardist/sea captain Taco Kichi, drummer/drinker Tike Regular, overqualified musician Evad Nomenclature, Egyptian rapper Sordat Samot, trombonist/lawyer Kire Namlag, and drummer Fru Fru Wonder Nugget.
