Monoshock were an american psychedelic-punk-noise rock outfit formed in the late 80's by a group of friends, Grady Runyan (guitar, vocals, e-bow, violin), Rubin Fiberglass (drums, vocals, percussion, also wrote the majority if not all of their lyrics), Scott Derr (bass, vocals, 2nd guitar, bass bugle, blender) & Aluminum Queen (sax). Monoshock released 4 singles, two LP's and appeared on numerous comps before calling it quits. An extensive re-issue containing picks from their previous efforts was pressed in 2004, by S-S Records, titled "Runnin' Ape-like From The Backwards Superman: 1989-1995".
