Monique Steyn (formerly MoniQue) Monique Steyn is an Afrikaans singer and piano player. During the first South African Idols season, she finished among the top 50 contestants. Her debut album, Ek val vir jou was released in 2010. Her debut song Sê My Hoe is also on the CD Die Grootste Afrikaans Sokkie Vol. 7 as well as on the DVD 30 Golden Sock Hits available. Monique was the mentor of Wilha Carstens and Demi Lee Moore in the reality music competition Die Kontrak op VIA on DStv . Wilha dropped out, but Demi-Lee won and landed the million rand contract that awaited the eventual winner.
