She carries on her baggage Festivals such PLANETA TERRA and FUTURE SOUND OF BRASIL, along with Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream and others on the programm, Monique was booked to do the opening for The Gossip’s Brazilian tour and now with her European tour in May 2010, she brings her Glam-Blues-Jazz in her solo project with the debut album LOLA (curvemusic) “Lola tells a story of a whore and also a mom who tries to fill in society. A mix of Tom Waits, Henry Miller, Charles Bukowski with a little of Scott Fitzgerald and extra charm“ Kátia Lessa. Trip Magazine. On stage she plays with Maurício Biazzi (Patife Band), Piero Damiani (Numismata), Ladislau Kardos (Mamma Cadela) and Fernando Coelho (Seychelles). Member of more 3 bands - EX!, SUNSET and DIE KATZEN, Monique also work as DJ in São Paulo’s nightlife with her Nasty set from Funk & Soul to Rock & Eletro. MonMaion composed the soundtracks for the movies "Outros Modos de Sentir” and “Em uma noite escura, as rosas são amarelas”. She also composed and performed Coca-Cola Clothing jingle at Fashion Rio Autumn- Winter 2010. Now she’s getting ready to release her second album. *
