Signed to: Sotones Moneytree are one of those bands who keep changing, constantly evolving their sound. Asking them they would tell you they are just a rock band but they are far more exciting, easily crossing the border between indie and more intricate alternative rock. Their live shows have quickly gaining a reputation for being high powered and energetic whilst priding themselves on being accomplished and engaging. Based somewhere between London, Brighton and Southampton they have plenty of friends in other bands you might recognise, collaborating with members of Band Of Skulls, The Mystery Jets, The Holloways, Mumford and Sons, Thomas Tantrum, On Histories Of Rosenberg The Moulettes and Lonely Joe Parker. Moneytree are two thirds of the way through a trilogy of EPs documenting their ever evolving sound with the third out this year and the single 'Wake Up Pay Your Overheads' out in June on Sotones.
