Mondo Trasho is a band from Flekkefjord, Norway. A jam-oriented six-piece disintegrated in the early months of 2012, and from the ashes emerged a power trio. The new constellation, Mondo Trasho, have been focusing on a combination of raw minimalism, agitprop lyrics and sonic experimentation; blending a myriad of influences garnered throughout the years spent in opposition at the heart of Norway's "bible belt". With their Fender-powered raw rock'n roll they play a new form of music described by the band as "Flekkefjord Delta Blues". They first formed to fill the musical vacuum that presided in Flekkefjord, as there was a drought of local bands.
