ARTIST BIO Born and raised in Jamaica, singer/songwriter Monair Brown, discovered at an early age his love for singing, writing and arranging songs. With roots firmly set in Gospel music, Monair has had the honor of singing with several talented groups and choirs over the years. He has shared the stage with established recording artists, done nationally televised performances and has performed at other major events including the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival. A lover of all things music, Monair typically enjoys R & B, Reggae, Gospel and Hip Hop. Two of his favorite artists are Stevie Wonder and Fred Hammond, however, he enjoys the musical creations of countless others, from the great Robert Nesta Marley to contemporaries such as Take 6, Maxwell, Jah Cure and Beres Hammond, to name a few. Over the years, he has evolved into a more dynamic songwriter, seeking to entertain, educate and inspire others through his music. He currently lives in Atlanta and is the singer for the SWATT Band. Monair B doesn’t need to be the life of the party, but he’ll definitely bring the party to life with his music, his down to earth personality and his love for life. A di real ting!
