Molotov Solution is a deathcore band from Las Vegas. They are notable for their politically charged lyrics, which include themes of government conspiracies and world issues. Molotov Solution were founded during 2004, releasing a demo later in the year. The group's first release, "The Path To Extinction" was finished and released in 2005. Both the demo and the album were produced by the band independently. In 2006 they signed to Twelve Gauge records and released a split album with War From a Harlot's Mouth, utilizing the heaviness and syncopated structure of grindcore coupled with their clear death metal savvy. The album would also be pressed on 10 inch vinyl, with the first 110 orders coming in a hot pink color with the rest of the records being black. Two years later they released a self-titled album (Molotov Solution) with a more straight forward, groove oriented approach. On December 10, 2008, Molotov Solution would depart from Twelve Guage Records and announce that they were signing with Metal Blade records, alongside an annoucement for a new album titled "The Harbinger" that would release on June 9, 2009. Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying and Daniel Castleman were brought on board to mix, and tracking was handled by Kelly Cairns at Lambesis Studios in San Diego, California.
