Molock.org was a 3-piece italian band born in march 2008 and based in the little, humble and perfumed province of Milan, Italy. The three original members are now working in studio with a drummer to record the first tracks. In 2009, right after recording the second demo, both recorded without drums, the band has decided to remove the "dot-org" tag from its name and to play simply as Molock. The three finally found a drummer, did a couple of gigs, and went on to develope their sound, eventually becoming Just A Ride. Molock tried to blend the very different musical influences of its three core members: zioNata, a melancholic singer in love with the 90's, GoldLeaf, guitarist and keyboardist, the technical power behind the project , and ch3m, experimental bass-guitarist and beat-maker who already has his own solo career. The result is a modern, alternative and often ironic way to play what many refer to as rock, with electronic support. Their music results to be hard to categorize and every track is a world of its own. The band is named after a cruel (and know dead) website, which is named after an even crueller divine creature, Moloch, to whom many sweet innocent babies were burnt in the past; or even after an adorable desert lizard, Moloch Horridus, symbol of the band.
