Mollie Moloney is a Singer/songwriter from the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay in Parry Sound, Ontario. Growing up Mollie had a strong inclination and passion for music and has been classically trained in Voice and Piano. Her early roots in music lead her down a road inspired by classical operas, oratorios, and art songs composed by leading artists Mozart, Schubert, Bach, and Puccini. She muses in the contemporary works and sounds of Carole King, Joan Baez, Cat Stevens, Aretha Franklin, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, The Beatles, Janice Joplin, and in film music Rogers and Hammerstein, John Barry, James Horner, and Patrick Doyle just to mention a few. Mollie has always held a deep appreciation and fascination for music, especially singing. She began studying her instruments Voice and Piano at the age of six and performed through her youth in churches, festivals, competitions, community events, galas, operas, and solo concerts. Her earliest singing idols were Jeanette Macdonald and Eddy Nelson, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, and Sarah Brightman. Mollie has a true keenness and love of performing and enjoys the gift of sharing her lyrical sound and music with others. Recently Mollie was awarded her ARCT Diploma in Voice Performance with Honours from The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
