Molding is a song based, alt rock band with a country/punk influence. The band started as a recording project - a sort of shelter for homeless songs - and evolved into a band. The music liberally mixes elements from rock, punk, country, folk, poetry - whatever the band enjoys (which is pretty much everything). The songs themselves can jump from genre to genre while always staying connected in feel and in spirit. The soul of the songs - the wit and whimsy, the sadness of beauty, the beauty of pain, the humor of anger, the euphoria of ennui (and vice-versa to all of the above) - unify them and make them molding songs.
