Mohammad Taghi Massoudieh (b Mashhad, 9 April 1927; d Tehran, 2 Feb 1999). Iranian ethnomusicologist and composer. He was educated at the Tehran Superior Conservatory of Music and the University of Tehran, where he took the BA in law in 1950. Then he moved to Paris, where he studied with Line Taluel, Georges Dandelot and Noel Gallant at the Paris Conservatoire and the Ecole Normale de Musique.
