Mohamed Attieh won the first season of LBC's pan-Arab import of Star Academy. His debut album was released in 2005. The relatively unsuccessful album was his first and last, and Mohamed launched his film career afterwards. After starring in "Alaya El Tarab Bel Talata", it was reported that Star System, the management firm with which he signed a binding contract after winning Star Academy, was suing him for breaching his contract.
