Artist
1982 proto-techno genius from one of the most important protagonists of avant-garde electronic music in Germany Dieter Moebius and Gerd Beerbohm! Alongside his bands Kluster/Cluster and Harmonia, Moebius participated in numerous collaborations (with the likes of Brian Eno and Mani Neumeier/Guru Guru). He recorded two albums with the bass player Gerd Beerbohm in 1982 and 1983; “Strange Music” was the first. What became of Beerbohm sadly remains a mystery. Constructed in a punk DIY fashion, 'Strange Music' uses a sparse palate of guitar, dub-fuelled bass, forward-thinking synthwork and warped electrnics.
