Boris Minnig alias Modunique. Music, no matter what kind and with only one limitation; that it’s rhythmic, has always been at the forefront of his life and remains the driving force in it. It all began with the old, the real, funk which his parents subdued him to early on, the path led down stops known as hip hop, trip hop, jungle, drum’n’bass and continued on to a place where the music became a mystery of sounds, melodies, rhythms and bass consuming him, not entirely but passionately, urging him to discover and decipher every bit. Isn’t music itself enough motivation? His aim is to grasp the meaning of music as an entity, to relish the aforementioned mystery free of inhibitions, prejudice and constraints.
