MA had a loose line up that never played gigs but did see the release of two studio albums and a number of self-produced cassettes. Shortly after Ramon disbanded MA, he started Sun Dial which featured some of MA members. Ramon also recorded as Quad. 2) Modern Art was German trance duo Michel Schuhmacher and Daniel Mühlethaler. 3) Modern Art was an 80s Swedish post-punk band with Thomas di Leva, formerly of The Pillisnorks and later of solo fame as di Leva.
